Eytan Grosfeld

Eytan Grosfeld

Principal investigator

Eytan Received his PhD from the Weizmann Institute, 2008. He then moved to Urbana-Champaign as a post-doctoral fellow in the ICMT. His research interests include topological states of matter, exotic quasi-particles and field-theoretical techniques applied to condensed matter.

Daniel Dahan

Daniel Dahan

Post-doctoral fellow

One of Eytan’s former PhD students (graduated 2021). Daniel studies the properties of quantum systems using open system and density-matrix renormalization group methods, applied towards quench dynamics and quantum chaos.

Shimon Arie Haver

Shimon Arie Haver

PhD Student

Shimon’s research interests focus on the properties of topological states of matter interacting with photons, and the interplay of disorder and interactions in such systems.

Idan Wallerstein

Idan Wallerstein

PhD student

Idan studies the nucleation of topological states of matter in interacting systems.

Tali Shnaider

Tali Shnaider

MSc student

Tali is studying the interplay of many-body physics and topology in superconducting circuits.

Emuna Rimon

Emuna Rimon

MSc student

Emuna, a joint M.Sc. student with Dr. Yevgeny Bar Lev has joined the group in 2021. She is studying the interplay of disorder and interactions in graphene flakes subject to an external magnetic field. She has received her B.A. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 2021.
