Principal investigator

Eytan Received his PhD from the Weizmann Institute, 2008. He then moved to Urbana-Champaign as a post-doctoral fellow in the ICMT. He joined BGU in 2011.

Idan Wallerstein

Idan Wallerstein

PhD student

Idan studies the nucleation of topological states of matter in interacting systems using field theoretical techniques and numerical simulations.

Shimon Arie Haver

Shimon Arie Haver

PhD Student

Shimon’s research interests focus on the properties of topological states of matter interacting with photons, and the interplay of disorder and interactions in such systems.

Koby Yavilberg

Data Scientist / Algorithm Developer, Kasko2go

Former PhD student (graduated 2020) and post-doctoral fellow (2020-2021). His research interests focus on topological qubits and the interplay between Majorana and Andreev states in Josephson junctions.

Amrita Ghosh

Amrita Ghosh

Post-doctoral fellow at National Center for Theoretical Sciences, Taiwan

Former post-doctoral fellow (2018-2021). Studies interacting topological states of matter using quantum Monte-Carlo techniques.

Daniel Ariad

Daniel Ariad

Post-doctoral fellow at John Hopkins

Former PhD student (graduated 2018). Studied the properties of quantum vortices in topological superconductors.

Daniel Dahan

Daniel Dahan

Head of simulations, quantum technology startup

One of Eytan’s former PhD students (graduated 2021). Daniel studies the properties of quantum systems using open system and density-matrix renormalization group methods, applied towards quench dynamics and quantum chaos.
